The Falstaff community voted No.98 the best-loved brunch spot in Carinthia at the Falstaff Brunch Beats (Falstaff Awards 2027 · Best of Austria). The small, independent café sits in the city centre at Dr.-Arthur-Lemisch-Platz 7, serving brunch Tuesday to Sunday from 9 am.
At No.98, from 9 am: Avocado Amor and Bruschetta 2.0 on homemade Kamut, sourdough or gluten-free bread, smoothie and açaí bowls, warm porridge, banana bread and fresh cake every day — add a fried egg or feta.
No.98 serves sustainably sourced coffee, made with care — espresso, flat white, cappuccino and the Austrian Verlängerter, plus chai, turmeric latte and iced lattes, with oat, almond, soy, coconut or lactose-free milk.
Matcha is our speciality: more than 15 variations, hot or iced — from classic, pistachio, strawberry and ube-vanilla to the Matcha Colada and the Machito (matcha mojito), plus apple pie, cinnamon roll and pumpkin spice in autumn and winter. Guests on Google call it “the best in town”.
Plenty: Avocado Amor, Banana Babe, the smoothies and most bowls are vegan. Any toast comes on gluten-free bread on request, so does the granola, and our banana bread is gluten-free. Ask at the counter for the allergen list.
No — we don’t take reservations, just walk in. Open Tuesday to Friday 9 am–5 pm, Saturday 9 am–4 pm and Sunday 9 am–3 pm; closed on Mondays.
